Q&A
📤 How should I deliver the audio tracks?
Audio tracks should be sent to stavpardo@gmail.com in any way you wish (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox…)
Before sending, please make sure of the following:
Format - The channel files in the format in which they were recorded (usually WAV 44.1/48kHz 24bit).
All tracks must start at the same point in time (Timecode).
Track names - Each track has a clear name that describes what it contains.
BPM and time signature - If the BPM and/or time signature changes during the song, please note it.
Rough Mix - Attach a file that more or less represents the balance between the channels.
References - Mention other songs you would like the song to sound like (optional).
✨ Should I deliver the tracks before or after process?
It depends, but in general, all process that feels like an integral and significant part of the color and sound are worth keeping. If you are not sure if you made the right decisions in choosing the "right" process, you can send it in two versions - processed and unprocessed (dry & wet).
💰 How does payment work?
Payment is due before the final version is delivered. You can pay via Bank Transfer, Bit, Paybox, or Cash.
🎶 Mastering delivery files formats
Upon delivery of your mastered files you will receive 3 files:
44.1kHz - Main format for digital distribution.
48kHz - for synchronization with video.
mp3 - a compressed file for PR or quick sharing.
If additional versions are needed (playback, stems, etc.), they must be requested in advance.
I keep the project with me for up to 6 months. After that, it is recommended that you keep a backup copy.
🗂️ Sharing versions and comments - Samply
Along the way, I will send you versions to listen to via Samply - a convenient platform that centralizes all the files in one place.
You can listen whenever you want, wherever you want (website or phone), compare versions, and add comments and requests for corrections to the exact second in the song. This way we stay in sync and avoid confusion.
